Frequently Asked Questions
What if I don't think I can be hypnotized?
About 85% of people who recieve hypnosis start with the belief that they cannot be hypnotized. I was also one of those people until I experienced it and t's natural for us to believe something is impossible that we don't quite understand.
Simply put, hypnosis is a strategic approach which involves intentional relaxation techniques that allow you to access your subconsious thoughts, beliefs and patterns to better understand your limitations. You actually experience this state multiple times a day unknowingly.
Will you be controlling my mind?
During hypnosis you are 100% in control of what you say and the choice is yours to interact or refrain from it.
It is impossible for someone to control your mind in hypnosis. Think of it as you're the driver and I am in the back seat giving directions on where to go next.
How many sessions will I need?
The amount of sessions you need is highly dependent on the issue you're working on and if you're doing what you're instructed to do post session.
Some people only need one session while others need several. However let me assure you that unlike traditional therapy the RTT method usually doesn't require years to eradicate the problem and most people see a significant change within 1-3 sessions.
Is it possible for me to get stuck in hypnosis?
You're in hypnosis several times a day without realizing it. For instance, when driving a car or watching a movie the same brain waves are activated as when you are in a hypnosis session.
What if I experience an uncomfortable scene?
During hypnosis you may experience scenes that you have forgotten or are completely unaware of that could invoke unresolved feelings that make you uncomfortable.
Remembering that you are only reviewing the scenes and not reliving them is a key factor when faced with this. It's also important to remember that it wouldn't come up if it wasn't impacting the presented issue and is a significant situation to overcome the limitation at hand.
I will compassionately guide you through these moments to bring you back into a state of ease.
